Based on the real-life stand of a small group of British soldiers against a huge army of Zulu warriors in South Africa. This was Michael Caine's first major role, and he seems to slip in and out of his foppish character, but I thought the movie did a good job of portraying the desparate nature of the fight. It's not my favorite movie, but it was good.
