Description:Christopher Leiningen (Charlton Heston) runs a coffee plantation in the Amazon. He sends away for a mail-order wife. When Joanna (Eleanor Parker) arrives, she's much more than Leiningen expected. But when he discovers that she was married before, he wants nothing to do with her. Before he can get rid of her, a swarm of soldier ants descends on the plantation. Joanna determines to stay and help fight the ants. In the end, the plantation is ruined, but the two have found love.

Review - Naked Jungle, The

The plot was goofy. Heston's character was an idiot. The ant swarm was ridiculous — particularly when individual ants were visible through binoculars 10 miles away. Eleanor Parker, however, was amazing in here role.
