| Description: | The plot begins in an animated world where love comes at first sight and all live happily ever after. Giselle (Amy Adams) is about to become the bride of Prince Edward when his jealous mother (Susan Sarandon) sends her to another world — ours. Hopelessly out of place, Giselle refuses to forsake her positive attitude. It soon effects Robert (Patrick Dempsey) a cynical lawyer who doesn't believe in happiness. When Edward shows up to rescue Giselle, she's reluctant to leave. Then the evil mother shows up and poisons Giselle. It's Robert's kiss that restores her and after a final showdown, Giselle decides to stay with Robert. |
