Description: | Griffin (Roddy McDowell)is the butler for a Boston family. When the family goes bust, the young son, Jack, takes off for California with dreams of finding gold. Griffin follows to bring him back. Jack's older sister, Arabella (Suzanne Pleshette) follows. They meet a man onboard the ship who has a map to a gold mine. It is stolen by a slimy crook (Jack Malden) and for the rest of the movie, they take turns with the crook getting the upper hand. Griffin ends up fighting the boxing champ of San Francisco and beating him and ends up with Arabella. |
