Review - Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed
The connection between the Holocaust and evolution may have been a bit heavy-handed at times — certainly all evolutionists don't become Nazis. But that's just because all evolutionists don't take the theory to its logical conclusions. The film got a bit dry at times, but it also had its exciting moments, like when Stein got Richard Dawkins to admit that life on this earth might have come about as a result of intelligent beings — advanced aliens from another planet who, themselves evolved by accident. That doesn't solve any issue whatsoever. It just moves the question to another planet.
When asked what question he would ask of God, if there turns out to be a God, Dawkins suggested, "Why did you do such a good job of hiding yourself?" But that's a really stupid question because Dawkins admittedly refuses to even begin to consider any evidence that points to God. That's like claiming that nobody ever comes to visit you while refusing to answer the incessant knocking at the door.
In the end, each of us have to decide whose word to take — God's or Dawkins' and those like him. I'll go with God. And when Dawkins does die, he won't be asking God any questions. He'll just be bowing down in subject fear, but it will be too late.
