| Description: | Bob Weston (Tony Curtis) is the editor-in-chief of the tabloid Stop magazine. He wants to write an article about Helen Gurley Brown (Natalie Wood), the author of the book Sex and the Single Girl. She wants nothing to do with him, so he poses as his neighbor Frank (Henry Fonda) and tells Helen about how jealous his wife Sylvia (Lauren Bacall) is. Bob and Helen fall in love. Bob refuses to write the article slamming her and gets fired. Helen finds out who he is and takes off. There's a long, goofy car chase, but in the end, Bob and Helen get married and Frank and Sylvia get back together. |
