Description:Mike Hamilton (Clark Gable) travels to Italy to settle his brother's estate. He discovers that his brother has left a son who is living with his aunt Lucia Curcio (Sophia Loren). He wants to take the boy back to Philidelphia, but Lucia wants to keep him. The case ends up in court, but by this time Mike and Lucia are in love and he decides to stay in Naples.

Review - It Started in Naples

The story could have been OK, but Clark Gable was way too old to play a romantic lead (he was 60, 33 years older than Loren), and there was no chemistry between them.
