| Description: | Carl Allen (Jim Carrey) is depressed when his wife leaves him and withdraws from life. He meets an old friend who convinces him to attend a Yes! seminar. He's convinced that if he doesn't say yes to everyting, bad things will happen. For a while, things turn around. His agreement to take a bum home leads to his meeting Allison (Zooey Deschanel) and they fall in love. But when Allison realizes Carl says yes to everything, she doesn't think his love is real. Jim has to learn how to think each occasion through and say yes or no on the merits, but he does this in time to win Allison back. |
