| Description: | Jerry Shaw (Shia LaBeouf) works in a copy store. He goes back to his apartment one day to find it full of weapons. The FBI shows up and arrests him. Before he knows what's happening, a woman calls him on his cell phone and gives him directions. He's told to meet up with a woman, Rachel Holloman (Michelle Monaghan) who is also receiving instructions from the same woman. An FBI agent (Billy Bob Thornton) is hot on their tails. The two end up in Washington D.C. It turns out the "woman" giving the instructions is a top-secret government computer who has determined that the President and cabinet are threats to the national security and is using Rachel and Jerry to plant a bomb during the state-of-the-union address. Rachel's son is in the band playing the National Anthem, and his trumpet has been rigged to play a note that will explode the bomb Rachel doesn't know she's carrying. Jerry arrives just in time to prevent things. Meanwhile, two other people manage to destroy the controlling computer. |
