Description:MacKenna (Gregory Peck) learns the secret of a canyon filled with gold from an old Apache just before he dies. Bad guy Colorado (Omar Sharif) and his gang capture MacKenna and force him to lead them to the canyon. Their hold over him is Inga, a woman from town that MacKenna is sweet on. There's also an Indian woman who wants MacKenna (Julie Newmar). They are pursued by a band of Apache and by the cavalry, led by Sgt. Tibbs (Telly Savalas) who kills his own men and joins the bad guys. They get to the canyon, find the gold, but then MacKenna kills all his partners (who haven't already been killed). He and MacKenna have a big fight and then an earthquake hits and everyone has to flee. Colorado rides off in one direction, MacKenna and Inga in another, but MacKenna's saddlebags are filled with gold.

Review - MacKenna's Godl

A mess of a movie. There were many small roles filled by famous actors, but this movie is proof that famous actors don't necessarily make good movies. An actual canyon was destroyed in the earthquake scene, but that didn't keep it from looking completely fake. The acting, the plot, everything was just a mess.
