Review - Tin Man
Not great, but entertaining enough. Zooey Deschanel seemed out of her league somehow and acted woodenly throughout, but the other characters were good.

| Description: | A made-for-TV series called a "reimagining" of The Wizard of Oz. DG (Zooey Deschanel) is a waitress who is transported to the O.Z. (Outer Zone) where she soon discovers she's a princess. Her mother is imprisoned by DG's sister, Azkadellia (Kathleen Robertson) who has been possessed by a witch. She teams up with three misfits: Cain, a tin man (sheriff); Raw, a lion-like creature; and Glitch, a disheveled character who has had half his brain removed. Also along, but not always trustworthy, is Toto, the old family tutor who can change into a dog. With the help of her friends, DG manages to find the Emerald of the Eclipse and free her sister from the witch. Richard Dreyfuss makes a brief appearance as the Mystic Man. |
