Description:A slow-moving moody film about the final months of Jesse James' (Brad Pitt) life. Young Robert Ford (Casey Affleck)idolizes Jesse and wants deperately to share his fame. Jesse becomes more paranoid and distrustful of his partners. He kills one of them who he thinks has betrayed him. When he asks Robert and his brother Charlie to join him, they think they're next. Jesse knows how they feel and makes it easy for Robert to shoot him in the back. Robert thought his action would make him a hero, but he's labeled a coward and eventually shot in his saloon in Colorado.

Interesting, if ponderous. It certainly isn't a movie I could ever sit through twice.
