Description:Bo Decker (Don Murray) is a cowboy from the sticks who travels to Phoenix to compete in a rodeo. He's never had a relationship, and when he sees Cherie (Marilyn Monroe) performing in a bar, he falls for her. He makes everyone shut up while she sings. In return, she gives him a kiss. At that point, Bo decides he's going to marry her and he won't take no for an answer. He forces Cherie to get back on the bus to Montana. When the bus gets caught in a snow storm at a remote stop, Cherie tries to get away. Bo grabs her, the bus driver intervenes and forces Bo to settle down and apologize. After a night of thinking about it, Bo tells Cherie he's sorry. She not only forgives him, but agrees to marry him after all.

Review - Bus Stop

Don Murray's Bo is one of the most annoying characters I've ever seen in a movie, and Monroe's Cherie isn't much better. I found myself hoping they would somehow both end up unhappy. They ended up together, which is probably much the same thing. They also had Marilyn so made up to look pale compared to Murray's ruggedness that she appeared whitish-green throughout and was decided unattractive.
