Review - Lola Rennt

I don't know if it was good, but it was interesting.

In the first sequence, Lola's dad, in the midst of an argument with his mistress, kicks Lola out of the bank. She arrives as Manni is robbing the store, helps him and gets shot by the police.

In the second sequence, Lola confronts her dad with his mistress, then grabs a guards gun and robs the bank. She escapes the police and gets to Manni in time, but as he's crossing the street to her, he is hit by an ambulance.

In the third sequence, Lola gets to the bank too late. Her dad gets in a car that gets in an accident and he dies. Lola spots a casino and bets all her money and wins what she needs. Meanwhile, Manni spots a bum with his bag from the train and gets his money to give to the mob. Lola shows up with her money and they walk off smiling.

There are all sorts of quick cuts and repeated themes and five-second slide shows showing the lives of the people Lola passes on her run, all while frenetic music is playing.
