Complicated, and with a more aggressive take on the Holmes character than past manifestations. Law's Watson is more of an equal than an assistant, with skills of his own. McAdams is delightful, as always. It's a movie that will need at least one more showing to fully comprehend. It moves non-stop and never lets you catch your breath.
