| Description: | I've been aware of this movie for several years — ever since the book was a Carp book of the month. But the movie has nothing whatever to do with the book except Italy. In the movie, Diane Lane plays Frances, an American writer getting over a divorce. She vacations in Tuscany and on impulse buys an old villa. She keeps looking for love without success, but makes friends along the way. Finally, at the very end, she finds a guy. |
