Description:Sophie (Amanda Seyfried) is in Verona, Italy with her unattentive fiance Victor when she happens upon the balcony where Romeo and Juliet supposedly had their great scene. She sees dozens of women writing notes and sticking them on the wall, then she sees another woman taking the notes away. She follows and discovers that the notes are pleas for advice and that a group of women answer the notes as if they were Juliet. Sophie finds a 50-year-old note from Claire (Vanessa Redgrave) and writes to tell her that true love never dies. Sophie travels to Italy with her grandson Charlie (Christopher Egan) who is against the whole idea. With Sophie in tow, the two journey around Italy searching for Lorenzo, the love Claire walked away from way back when. After many false tries, they finally find Lorenzo and he and Claire fall in love all over again. Meanwhile, of course, Sophie and Charlie fall for each other. She returns to Victor, but soon realizes it's no good and breaks up with him. She returns for Clair and Lorenzo's wedding and hooks up with Charlie in a stupid balcony scene.

Review - Letters to Juliet

Whoever wrote this movie should be slapped. Whoever wrote the final five minutes should be shot. I saw it at the Catlow with Sally. There were probably 200 people there, 98% of them female and at least 60% of them under 18.
