| Description: | Deke Rivers (Elvis Presley) is a small-town delivery boy. When a friend convinces him to sing in public, he is noticed by Glenda Markle (Lizabeth Scott). She talks him into joining her ex-husbands traveling band. Soon Deke is a big shot, but he's uncomfortable with the press hoopla that Glenda is drumming up. He takes off. Glenda realizes that she's being a jerk and tears up the contract. Zeke comes back on his own and, along the way, falls for Susan Jessup (Dolores Hart). |
