Description:A car accident leaves Tom Phillips (Dana Andrews) with a bad back. He takes his wife, teenage daughter Tina and young son out west where he plans to buy a motel. On the way, they cross the path of two punks in a hot rod who take a fancy to Tina a begin to chase the family. When they get to the motel, the teens show up and Tina starts hanging with one of them. Tom decides to go to the next town for the police, but the hot rodders chase them. Tom finally has enough and forces them off the road. He regains his courage, doesn't report them to the cops and returns to the motel.

Review - Hot Rods to Hell

Not good in any way, but not terribly bad either. It contained some of the most extreme over-acting I've ever seen. The hot rodders were certainly dangerous, but I thought trying to kill them was a bit much when there were perfectly good police officers nearby.
