Review - Casanova Brown
Starts out clever enough. The scene where Cas burns down the house is funny. But once he kidnaps the baby, the movie just gets silly.

| Description: | Cas Brown (Gary Cooper) meets and marries Isabel Drury (Teresa Wright)all in one night. But their marriage is annulled when Cas accidently burns down his in-law's house the next day. Nine months later, on the verge of marrying another woman, Cas learns that Isabel has had a baby. He travels to the hospital where he meets Isabel. When she tells him she's putting the baby up for adoption, Cas kidnaps the child and hides out in a hotel. Turns out Isabel wasn't being honest. She just made up the story about the adoption to get Cas to come to her and to keep him from getting married. It all gets worked out when she finally tracks down Cas and the baby and they decide to get married again. |
