| Description: | Granger Woodruff (Jesse Metcalfe), an ad exec. in N.Y. gets a call from "Jessica David" saying that his credit card has been stolen. Over the next few days, Granger and Jessica talk and become friends. But Jessica is really Priya Sethi (Shriya Saran), who works a phone bank in Mumbai, India. She tells Granger she lives in San Francisco, so when he goes there for business, he suggests they meet. Priya is engaged in an arranged marriage situation, but isn't happy about it. She takes off to America to meet Granger. She chickens out, but they meet in the hotel lobby. Granger doesn't realize she's Jessica, but he asks her out and they fall in love. Priya's parents come to get her, he finds out she's been lying to him, she sees him with his old girlfriend — all the usual rom-com devices. She returns to India and breaks off her engagement. Granger follows and they get married. |
