Description:Robin Longstride (Russell Crowe) is in France, returning from a Crusade with Richard the Lion-hearted. When Richard is killed, Robin and his men head for the coast. On the way, they run into a bunch of French soldiers who have ambushed some English knights. One of the knights, Robert of Loxley, with his dying breath, asks Robin to return his sword to his father. Robin does so and is asked by the father to assume his son's place — and to marry his widow Marion (Cate Blanchett). King John's buddy, Godfrey, is in league with the French and helps them plan an invasion. Just in time, John makes peace with his nobles and beats off the invasion. But when Robin is the hero, John gets jealous and declares him an outlaw. Robin takes him men, and Marion, and goes to live in the forest.

Review - Robin Hood

If I totally forget about historical accuracy and logic, it was a pretty good movie. But Marion fighting in armor during the invasion battle, the French arriving in WWII-era landing craft with oars and several other equally bizarre scenes make it a bit hard to take seriously.
