Mindless fun, but fun nonetheless. We enjoyed it thoroughly and were totally caught by surprise at the end.

| Description: | Elise (Angelina Jolie) is being watched closely by the government and by gangster Reginald Shaw. Her boyfriend stole $2 billion from the gangster. Shaw wants his money back — the government wants its taxes. On the train to Venice, she hooks up with American tourist Frank Tupelo (Johnny Depp), a math teacher. Her plan is to convince everyone that he is her boyfriend. Elise invites Frank to share her hotel room. Soon, he is on the run from men shooting at him. Then he's arrested. Elise rescues him, apologizes for getting him involved and sends him home. But Frank has fallen for Elise and won't go. When Shaw captures Elise and is about to kill her unless she tells him where the money is, Frank bursts in. At the last moment, Interpol shoots Shaw and his men. The agents get a message that Elise's lover has been captured and they run off. Frank reveals that he is Elise's lover — he's had plastic surgery. They take the money and run, leaving the government a check for the taxes they owe. |
