| Description: | Aircraft carrier USS Nimitz goes through a time warp and ends up off Hawaii on the eve of Pearl Harbor. Captain Yelland (Kirk Douglas) rescues a senator (Charles Durning) and his assistant (Katherine Ross). He sends his planes to intercept the Japanese, but recalls them when the time warp reappears. One of his pilots is left behind. When the carrier reaches the dock at Pearl Harbor, their met at the dock by the pilot and the senator's assistant, now much older. |
