Description:Hercules, the son of the Greek God Zeus, is kidnapped by Hades, lord of the underworld, and made into a mortal with great strength. Zeus tells his son that he must become a hero to regain his immortality. Zeus fights all the monsters and saves the maidens, but that isn't enough. He meets, and falls for Meg, not realizing that she is bound to Hades (although she loves Hercules). She lures him into a trap in which he gives up his strength in exchange for her life. Hades then releases the furies who defeat the gods in battle. Hercules, even though he is mortal, fights and defeats the Cyclops. When Meg is injured, the deal is off and Hercules regains his strength. He frees the gods. Meg dies, but Hercules follows her into death, thus becoming a true hero and immortal. But he decides to stay on earth with Meg.

Review - Hercules

I didn't care for the story or the animation. There was one place where I chuckled slightly, but that was it for the humor. The title song, which kept saying "it's the gospel truth" was offensive.
