Review - Trouble with Harry, The
A slow-paced but clever movie with a lot of great dialogue and some rather racy undertones.

| Description: | A dead body is found on a hill, and several residents of the nearby village aren't quite sure what to do about it. The Captain thinks he shot the man while rabbit hunting, but he soon accounts for all his bullets and realizes he couldn't have. Spinster Ivy thinks she killed him when she hit him with her shoe. He (Harry, the dead man) thought she was his wife and tried dragging her off, so she hit him. Turns out the reason he was confused was that his real wife Jennifer had also hit him in the head, this time with a milk bottle. (He had ditched her on their wedding night and she wanted nothing to do with him.) Sam is a local artist who is in love with Jennifer and wants to marry her. The four of them spend the day burying and digging up Harry several times while they try to decide what to do. When a doctor finds that Harry died of a bad heart, the four drag the body back up the hill and arrange to have it found all over again the next day. |
