Pretty good, although I couldn't quite buy Jeff's attraction to Vicki since Ellen was, from the very first, both more attractive and more available.

| Description: | Carl (Broderick Crawford) gets fired and asks his wife, Vicki (Gloria Grahame), to visit a man who can get him rehired. Carl then suspects Vicki of having an affair and murders the man. Vicki wants to escape from him and seduces Jeff (Glenn Ford) and tries to get him to kill Carl. At the last minute, Jeff comes to his senses and refuses. Vicki tries to run, but Carl finds her and strangles her. Jeff takes up with Ellen (Kathleen Case), the daughter of his friend, who has been in love with him all along. |
