Review - Judgment at Nuremberg
Thought-provoking. Long, and a bit slow in places, but overall it kept my interest.

| Description: | The trial of four German judges who implemented Hitler's extermination program. Chief Judge Dan Hayward (Spencer Tracy) presided. Burt Lancaster portrayed Janning, a judge who came to realize the horror of what he'd done. Richard Widmark played the prosecutor, Maximiliam Schell the defendor. Marlene Dietrich played a German woman who befriends Hayward and comes to realize the complacency of the German people. All four judges were sentenced to life, but all were out in a few years. |
