Review - Presumed Innocent
I'm pretty sure I've seen it before, but it had me in suspense. It was a bit slow-moving in parts, but the characters rang true.

| Description: | Rusty Sabich (Harrison Ford) is a prosecuting attorney who is assigned to investigate the murder of Carolyn Polhemus (Greta Scacchi), a woman with whom he was having an affair. When his fingerprints and DNA are found on the scene, he is charged. He hires Sandy Stern (Raul Julia) to be his counsel, and Stern manages to get the case thrown out of court because some of the evidence is missing. A cop friend of Rusty's admits after the trial that he took the missing evidence. A few days later, Rusty finds evidence in his basement and traces the murder back to his wife Barbara (Bonnie Bedella). But since he considers himself responsible for driving her to it, he conceals the evidence and lives with the guilt. |
