Description:Abby (Janeane Garofalo) hosts a radio talk show about pets. Brian (Ben Chaplin) falls for her voice and asks to meet her. She lies about her looks and sends her friend Noelle (Uma Thurman). In a Cyrano-type plot, Brian falls for Noelle's looks but Abby's personality. When Noelle reveals the plot, Brian is mad, but returns to Abby after all.

Review - Truth About Cats & Dogs, The

Uma Thurman is underused. Brian's character is an idiot for not figuring out the deception on his own and the movie had an unnecessary crude bit.
