Description:Nikki Collins (Deanna Durbin) is riding into NYC on a train when she witnesses an old man being murdered in a bulding along the tracks. When the police refuse to listen, she contacts Wayne Morgan (David Bruce), a mystery writer and tries to get him interested in the case. At first, he wants no part of her, but soon he begins to wonder if she's on to something — and to find her attractive. The two discover that the dead man was a wealthy industrialist, and have to escape from his family and their henchmen who killed him for his money.

Review - Lady on a Train

Started off OK, but I lost interest in all the back-and-forth between the characters — some trying to destroy the evidence and and kill Nikki and Wayne while Nikki and Wayne were trying to find the evidence and solve the crime.
