| Description: | Dennis (Simon Pegg) is a loser who, five years ago, dumped his pregnant girlfriend Libby (Thandie Newton) at the altar. Now he wants her back. She's not interested, especially since she's engaged to Whit. When Dennis finds out Whit is running in a marathon, he decides to run too. The two men race to keep up with each other until Whit trips Dennis. His ankle badly sprained, Dennis struggles on and finishes the race late that night. But in the meantime, Libby has realized what a jerk Whit is. She agrees to go out to dinner with Dennis. |
