Review - Hunger Games, The
Felt about the movie pretty much the way I felt about the book — like I was being manipulated. It was interesting enough, but at some level disgusting.

| Description: | Followed the book very closely. Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) volunteers to take her younger sister's place in the games — an annual event in which a boy and girl from each of 12 districts are forced to fight to the death on national TV. Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) is the chosen boy from her district. On the eve of the games, he reveals that he has a crush on her and intends to protect her in the arena. She soon learns to care for him and together they find a way to both survive, causing the government to be very upset. |
