Review - Air America
Very anti-American government, but with a sense of humor and some good characters.

| Description: | Air America is a CIA-run air transport service in Laos during the Vietnam War. The commanders transport drugs for a Laotian general in exchange for a portion of the profits. Billy (Robert Downey Jr.), a civilian pilot joins up but is quickly disillusioned by what he sees. His buddy, cynical veteran Gene (Mel Gibson) is trading guns on the side so he can move his Vietnamese family to Thailand. Billy's ethics rub off on Gene. He dumps his guns to pick up a load of refugees and he and Billy fly the plane to Thailand and sell it. |
