The plot wasn't great, but Newman and Andrews were excellent in their roles and made it a pretty good movie.

Description: | Nuclear physicist Michael Armstrong (Paul Newman) pretends to defect to East Germany so he can get a formula from a Communist scientist. Armstrong didn't plan on having his girlfriend Sarah Sherman (Julie Andrews) follow. When she finds out what he's doing, she's upset, but he finds an opportunity to explain. Then all they have to do is get the formula and escape to Sweden — through German security guards, the police, informants ... |
