Reviews for Oz the Great and Powerful
Review - Oz the Great and Powerful
Visually impressive with some humor and some good characters. But Franco as Oz was unimpressive and Kunis as Theodora was just bad.

Description: | A prequel to The Wizard of Oz. Oz (James Franco) is a carnival huckster who is caught in a tornado in a balloon and lands in Oz. He's seen as the great Wizard who has been prophesied. He decides to play along. The witch sisters, Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Theodora (Mila Kunis) convince him to kill the "evil" witch Glinda (Michelle Williams) but he finds out in time that Glinda is good and Evanora is bad. When Theodora finds out he likes Glinda, she also turns bad and become the wicked witch. Oz uses trickery to take over the Emerald City and banish the bad witches. |
