Description: | At the very end of WWII, Army recruit Eugene Jerome (Matthew Broderick) goes through basic training. He has to deal with his platoon mates and Sgt. Toomey (Christopher Walken) who is eccentric and vindictive. Along the way, he loses his virginity and has a romance with a local girl. |
