Review - Snow-White
More of an acid trip than a story, really. Weird for the sake of being weird.

| Description: | Fleischer Studios This version of the fairy tale was made four years before Disney's. The queen's magic mirror tells her she's the fairest in the land until Snow-White (Betty Boop) shows up. The queen orders her killed, but the knights (Bimbo and Koko) can't bring themselves to do it. Betty gets free but it is winter and she is soon frozen into an ice coffin. She's found by the dwarves who carry her into a cave. The queen follows and turns Koko into a ghost who sings Cab Calloway's "St. James Infirmary Blues." The queen is foiled and Betty, Koko and Bimbo dance. |
