| Description: | Created by Disney as a war-time propaganda piece. Donald Duck has a dream in which he's forced to slave for the Nazis, eating meager rations and saluting the fuehrer over and over again. He finally wakes up and is very happy to discover he's an American citizen. Originally called Donald Duck in Nutzi Land, the title was changed after the success of the song "Der Fuehrer's Face" by Spike Jones and His City Slickers. The song, composed by Oliver Wallace, is a parody of the Nazi anthem, "Horst-Wessel-Lied." |
