Review - Peace on Earth
As an allegory, it's powerful and the imagery, both of humans fighting and of the peaceful animal village, is excellent.

Description: | MGM Set in a post-apocalyptic world after humans have destroyed themselves by war. A group of small animals find a Bible and read about "peace on earth" and rebuilding from the waste. They use the war materials to build a peaceful town. The story is told by a grandfather squirrel to his grandchildren at Christmastime while snow is falling and carols are being sung outside. He explains how humans were difficult to figure out, with their love of war and insistence on finding something to fight about. |
