Reviews for The Glades
Review - Glades, The
The first season was great. Jim had a sarcastic wit and wise-guy attitude that was entertaining to watch. By season three, things had dulled down quite a bit. The introduction of Jennifer, who walked around crime scenes in stiletto heels and short, tight dresses, was just an obvious plot device. By season four, things were pretty lame. Every episode seemed identical. There was a murder and three chief suspects. Jim took turns berating them and arresting them until he finally managed to narrow it down to just one of them. It was a little annoying to have the main character lying bleeding on the floor at the end of the final episode, but the show was dying anyway.
