There was more to the plot than the bit I wrote above, but it was all so boilerplate and dull that I didn't bother writing about it. The whole bit felt like a bad Dragnet episode, and none of the actors seemed to care much. The lounge singer was Lizabeth Scott, whom I can't stand. And Ryan looked like he was wearing makeup.
