Review - How to Marry a Millionaire
Light and fun with a few good laugh lines, mostly by Betty Grable's character who is quite stupid.

| Description: | Three models, Schatze (Lauren Bacall), Pola (Marilyn Monroe) and Loco (Betty Grable) decide they want to marry rich men. They rent the apartment of a millionaire who had to flee the country because his tax agent stole his money. At a party, they each meet a man. Loco goes off to a lodge in Maine with a married man but then falls in love and marries a poor forest ranger. Pola gets involved with a con-man, but when she flies to meet him, she gets on the wrong plane and falls in love with Freddie, the millionaire who owns their apartment. J.D. Hanley (William Powell) falls for Schatze and she decides to marry him even though she's in love with Tom Brookman (Cameron Mitchell). At the last minute, she changes her mind and marries Tom, only to discover he's a millionaire. |
