Description:Philo Beddoe (Clint Eastwood) bums around the West with his orangutan Clyde fighting in bare-knuckle fights. Two hoodlums arrange a fight between him and eastern champion Jack Wilson. Philo's girl Lynn (Sondra Locke) talks him into calling off the fight, so they kidnap her. When Wilson finds out, he helps Philo rescue her. The two men become friends, but they want to know who's the better fighter. Their fight takes place in the streets of a town while hundreds gather to watch and bet. Philo finally wins, and the hoodlums can't cover the bets and have to run.

Whatever made the first one slightly amusing is just old and worn out here. Juvenile humor and Sondra Locke as the world's worst lounge singer make it pretty dull.
