Review - In the Line of Fire
Well done, with very believable acting by all involved and a story that kept my attention throughout. But it was a bit too dark to be "enjoyable."

Description: | Frank Horrigan (Clint Eastwood) is an older secret service agent. He was in Dallas when Kennedy was shot. Now an assassin, Mitch Leary (John Malkovich) is playing a game with Frank, letting him know he intends to kill the current president. Frank gets himself assigned to presidential guard duty, but his concern over Leary makes him seem paranoid to other agents and the president's staff. The only ones who believes in him are Agent Lilly Raines (Rene Russo) and Frank's partner Al. After Al is killed by Leary, Frank is taken off guard duty, but he figures out Leary's scheme in time to rush back and save the president and kill Leary. |
