| Description: | Terry McCaleb (Clint Eastwood) is a retired FBI agent. He just received a heart transplant when Graciella approaches him about helping solve the murder of her sister. She tells Terry that his new heart belonged to that sister. Terry investigates with the help of an old partner and discovers a link between the woman and another murder victim — they both shared a rare blood type that he also has. He realizes the killer murdered the woman to keep him (Terry) alive. He finally figures out the murder was his neighbor, Buddy (Jeff Daniels) who had been driving Terry around on the case. Buddy holds Graciella and her nephew hostage but Terry rescues them and kills Buddy. |
