| Description: | James Stewart plays John "Chip" Hardesty, a fictional FBI agent from the early days of the 1920s through the post-war years. He was seemingly involved in every major case, from 1930s gangsters to Nazis to Communists. To make it less of a infomercial for the bureau, scenes from Hardesty's marriage (his wife is played by Vera Miles) are stuck in here and again—mostly with him being a testy, but loving husband and father. |
