Review - Sons of Katie Elder, The

The plot, I think, was supposed to be about Katie's four sons trying, finally, to live up to her expectations of her. But there were so many huge plot holes and the characters — all of them — were so uninteresting, that I didn't much care what happened. John Wayne was 57 and recovering from cancer surgery when he played John Elder who is supposed to be about 40.
