Description:Jim Shannon (John Wayne) is an air force pilot in Alaska. Anna (Janet Leigh) is a Russian defector who arrives at his base in a stolen fighter. Shannon is given the task of watching her, which he does by letting her fly American planes and by falling in love with her. When he hears that she is really a spy and is about to be deported, he marries her and returns to Russia with her (to spy on the Russians in turn). He's scheduled to be returned to America in exchange for a couple Russian spies, but first is to be given a drug to make him forget everything. Anna decides she loves him after all, and the two escape in the fighter and return to the states.

Review - Jet Pilot

Absolutely ludicrous in every way. The plot doesn't stand up to a moment's thought — Americans and Russians both letting spies for the other country fly about in their planes for starters. It's pretty much just a vehicle for a lot of footage of jet planes flying around and for shots of Wayne leering at Janet Leigh in tight clothing.
