Description:Laurel and Hardy are on vacation in France when Ollie falls in love with Georgette (Jean Parker), the innkeeper's daughter. When he finds out she's married, he decided to throw himself into the river and take Stan along. A French soldier happens along and convinces them to join the Foreign Legion. They don't enjoy that much, so they leave and are arrested for desertion and sentenced to be shot. There's a tunnel from their cell and they escape, only to have the entire Legion on their tail. They hide out in an airport and "accidentally" take off in a plane. It crashes and Ollie dies, only to come back as a horse, complete with hat and mustache.

Reviews for The Flying Deuces

Review - Flying Deuces, The

Silly and slapstick, with no laughs and only a couple grins. While both men act stupidly, Stan is so lacking in brains that he could only be classified as retarded. I will admit that the "Shine On Harvest Moon" soft shoe routine they do in the middle of their first escape attempt is fun to watch.
